They all work perfectly, but probably need a firmware upgrade or some other minor issue to get them on line again, but D Link refuses to help me. Their answer is buy new ones. To which I said, I will and it will be Ring Cameras this time.

Cant connect my device my husband threw the paper work away

Too many loops to constantly be jumping. Can't get "human" help to walk me through the issue. Sucks big time when you have purchased 5 cameras and can't get any recordings on any of the SD cards. Followed the steps, but there is a kink in the system and can't "talk" to anyone about it. Like there'snot not enough day today struggles without this stupid, headache!!!

Don't buy the 5300 router

I bought Dlink 5300 router in may this year, my children constantly complained that it was dropping out, I bridged the router to the Telstra router and then the children didn't have anymore problems. We are on a 5 acres and have security cameras outside so need good coverage that the 5300 can do. I am starting a new business and have been home now to monitor what the 5300 router has been doing. It constantly drops out all our cameras except the Dlink cameras and drops out all our wifi light switches in the house, I rang support yesterday and the guy looked in the router and switched off the IVP6 and said was the problem, after the call ended I noticed the non Dlink cameras had dropped out and all the Wifi light switches as soon as I enabled the IVP6 they started working again. If you try and listen to google internet radio it drops out every 5 minutes or so, not very happy. I rang back and they said they will elevate to next level still waiting for a call, if my cameras are not working and I get robbed they will de responsible. summing up don't buy Dlink.

Desperately seeking help to restart dlink extender, tech support no help at all

We have a DLink router as well as two dLink range extenders, all was working reasonably well (poor power but working slowly) until both crashed. After looking online for help, following multiple sites' directions, also youtube tutorials, I managed to get one of the extenders working but not the other. Called Just Answer, after over one aggravating hour the tech suggested I watch a Youtube tutorial - the same one I had already followed on my own. Then he suggested I call DLink, gave me a number which was not assigned. Finally I thought maybe this extender is fried, and we should try a new one. Did some research online, and in the ratings comments some people mentioned how great dLink support is. So, I called them again, using the number provided in the rating comment. The fellow at Dlink wanted $90 for tech support, I said I already paid Just Answer to no avail, and pointed out that a newer, better extender costs $50. He said he couldn't help me, unless I paid the $90. I think I'll look into another brand. I have wasted a LOT of time on this today alone, not prepared to waste another precious minute on DLink, except to voice my frustration.

Made a plugin you have to use that doesnt work so you pay them for help

they made me download a plugin to access my account - all i wanted to do was change the password. i downloaded the plugin & it wont work & after i did some research no one can get the plug in to work i call their customer support and after being transferred multiple times, i was informed id have to pay a customer service rep to change my password. i will never buy d link anything again.

MyDlink flooding my email with spam

For the past several weeks MyDlink is sending me "event notifications" every minute - thousands of them a day. I have talked to DLink customer support and DLink technical support on multiple occasions - they have promised to correct - but obviously have not kept their promise as my email box is once again full of literally thousands of MyDLink emails. Please help

My wife ordered an outdoor camera through Fox and Friends via a website megamorning.deals. The camera was touted as easy to install.

I received the camera Christmas morning and noted there were instructions saying to install it via my "HUGHES SAGE" system. Huh? Turns out this system was launched in March 2016 and discontinued in September and thus OBSOLETE. The camera system:

SAGE by Hughes DKT-202-ES Outdoor HD Camera and WiFi PoE Bridge

The system operates and is controlled via proprietary hardware/software and thus the thing is useless and megamorning.deals has no company info or means of a return.

Will the number on that site tomorrow to see if this can help resolve but based on other comments, doesn't look hopeful. Fox News should be ASHAMED to push this JUNK through their morning news program.

I HOPE others read this and understand that you sir are mistaken. This camera was used to be part of the Hughes kit.

and sold for HUNDREDS of dollars. What you got was just the camera part which has been sold to many places that are liquidators. It is good price for what it is, the fact that you are having problems with it is really due to you not knowing how to set it up and to take advantage of the many uses it has. That being said it really is the fault of the person who gave it to you for them to not know it you would be able to figure it out.

I have bought 4 of these to use around the house last time they came up on sale and they are fantastic!

When i bought them they where twice the price as today and even at that price they were a steal:). So here i am telling about them and now i am going to buy a BUNCH more of them because the price is crazy and i will now add some to the inside of the house and use a few of them for next christmas HOWEVER i will send a note to the people i give them to explaining how to use them to there fullest..

Dlink visited yesterday afternoon and exchanged my router for a brand new type which appears to be working well. So, thank you Dlink, we got there in the end.

I have been having problems with my IPTV system for some time and mistakenly blamed it on the internet provider. A couple of months ago I found out it was the routers wifi failing. In consultation with Dlink in Thailand and Singapore a barrage of tests were done and we found out the following. The 890L works fine on all three wifi bands until I turn my Himedia Q10 pro on. when I start to use that all three bands start failing intermittently. If I turn off the password for the 2.4Ghz all three bands bands work fine. If I turn off the 2.4Ghz band the other 2 bands works fine. Currently I am using an independent 2.4Ghz band router and the Dlink 890L route on the two 5Ghz band with no problem. Dlink in singapore told me they were talking to their HO about it but after 6 weeks that has turned into a local technician will talk to you, that was a week ago. My patience with Dlink has run out.
